A deeply relaxing massage consisting of long connecting strokes, kneading, and friction. Decreases stress, tension, and fatigue, improves blood and lymphatic circulation, and calms the nervous system.
Addresses the deeper layers of muscle, fascia, and tendon. Realigns tissues, releases muscular tension and fascial restrictions, and increases range of motion to improve form and function and decrease musculoskeletal pain and stress. Incorporates Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, and Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques.
A holistic approach that utilizes the teachings and practices of yoga to support and enhance physical and psychological well-being. Private sessions are customized to an individual's specific needs and goals and includes instruction for implementing a home practice. The therapist and client work together to develop a practice that will facilitate healing and promote a vibrant mind, body, and spirit. Sessions may include physical exercises (asana), breathing and meditation techniques, mudra (hand gestures), and self-inquiry exercises.
Public and private yoga classes are available for groups.

The yoga therapy components of my practice are based on my completion of a Master of Science in Yoga Therapy from Maryland University of Integrative Health, a program which is accredited by the Accreditation Committee of the International Association of Yoga Therapies, approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission, and from a university accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, not derived from my status as an RYT® with Yoga Alliance Registry.
